Sr. Graphic Designer ~ Coloplast Corp. (April 2013-present)
Develop marketing collateral that graphically represents the business objective which includes clear visual communication of the key messages. Work closely with marketing communications manager and product marketing managers to develop strategic marketing tools that are appealing and engaging to each particular audience. Provide advanced level of expertise to the availability of print options and paper quality resulting in timely production of cost-efficient materials. Oversee agency support to ensure design formats and graphical elements are consistent with Corporate Visual Identity (CVI) guidelines. Works closely with global communications in Denmark as Brand Ambassador to ensure compliance of CVI guidelines.
Mullen Design Works (1994-present)
Art direction, design and production of websites, brochures, annual reports, logo/identity systems, catalogs, posters, advertising, packaging, publications and other printed materials, primarily for food and healthcare. Perform and manage entire range of design process from concept development through production and printing supervision. Web design concept through upload.
Lead Graphic Designer ~ The Patient Source (2008-2010)
Design and layout of patient education and health management materials. Worked with clients from conception through implementation of printed and web materials.
Chief Cook and Bottle Washer/Owner ~ SheCooks (2006-2010)
Independently developed a line of whole grain baking mixes, using organic, local flour and ingredients. Responsible for product development, marketing and design, ordering/purchasing, packaging of all aspects of the business, training of helpers. SheCooks (Shelagh) also holds occasional in-home cooking classes.

Part-time graphic design for University Relations department. Designed collateral and publications primarily for alumni and graduate programs.

Shelagh Geraghty Mullen is lead designer at Mullen Design Works, a graphic design studio with experience in food branding, healthcare branding, print publications, websites, and packaging.
She has held full-time positions as Art Director and/or Graphic Designer for a pharmaceutical ad agency, medical and food publications and has also worked internally and externally supporting corporate marketing departments of medical device and drug companies, and research firms and hospitals.
Shelagh has a passion for all things food. She has art directed food publications, produced logos, packaging and branding for multiple small food businesses. She opened SheCooks, a whole grain baking mix business in 2006, supplying the Twin Cities area with delicious, healthy and locally-produced mixes. Shelagh taught cooking lessons for a number of years as well. Shelagh closed SheCooks in 2010 in order to help other small food start-up businesses brand their products.
Shelagh delivers high-quality results that are on-target and within budget. Shelagh received a liberal arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. She has also received numerous awards for graphic design. *"She's really fun to work with too."
